will never charge your credit card until we're ready to ship your order,
and we'll only charge you for what we can ship right then. We'd also like
to point out that items already in our store nearly always ship out on the
next business day. We sell books, not mailing lists. Rest assured that we will never sell, give away or otherwise divulge your name, email address, home address, phone number, buying preferences, favourite colour or shoe size to anybody, ever! Shipping Policy Expedited Postage within Canada (7-10 business days to most major points in Canada) First Book $6.00 Each additional Book add $1.00 to maximum of $10.00 Express Post within Canada (2-3 business day service to all major points in Canada) First Book $10.00 Each additional Book $2.00 to maximum of $18.00 Canada Post requires that Expedited and Express Post shipments be delivered to a "secure location", in other words they want to make sure that the person the shipment is sent to is the one who gets it. If you're not home when they try to deliver your books, they'll leave you a note indicating that you have a package to pick up. Bear this in mind when giving us a ship to address, especially if you're in a hurry for your order. Let us send your books where you'll be when Canada Post delivers. Postage to U.S.A. (9-10 business days to most major points) First Book $12.00 Each additional Book $1.00 to maximum of $16.00 Express Post to U.S.A. (3-5 business days to most major points) First Book $18.00 Each additional Book $1.00 to maximum of $22.00 Postage costs to the rest of the world vary so much that we can't come up with a simple formula for them. We'll charge you what the post office charges us. If you wish to have your order shipped by some other method (UPS, FedEx, local courier, etc), let us know and we'll try to accommodate your needs. Foreign Currency We will bill your order in Canadian dollars. However, your credit card company will convert the Canadian total to your own currency when they bill you. Returns Policy You have a couple of options if you need to return something to us. If you're in Victoria, feel free to return your on-line purchase to our store in person. Otherwise, wrap your return well, include a note explaining the reason for return, and, if possible, a copy of your invoice, and mail it to:
